Though Shippen Place Hotel ("the hotel") makes a reasonable attempt to make this Web site ("the site") reliable and functional, the hotel can make no guarantee that any or all features of the site will be available or functional at all times, or that the site will work as intended in every Web browser or on every computer. Use the site at your own risk.

These terms, and the policies outlined below, represent the current terms of use of the Shippen Place Web site. All are subject to change. In the event that changes are made, they will be posted here without other notice.

Privacy Policy

Shippen Place Hotel respects your privacy and will not compromise or share your personal information that you submit on the site in any way, unless required to do so by law. We collect information for the sole purposes of providing you with requested services.

Cancellation Policy

GENERAL
An individual reservation may be cancelled without charge up to 24 hours prior to the reservation arrival date, except for special event periods and key dates. An individual reservation cancelled on the day of arrival will incur a charge equal to one night at the rate quoted plus taxes.

SPECIAL EVENTS
An individual reservation during a special event period may be cancelled without charge up to 72 hours prior to the reservation arrival date except for special events which are designated key dates. An individual reservation for a special event period cancelled after the 72-hour cutoff will incur a charge equal to one night at the rate quoted plus taxes.

KEY DATES
We have a "no cancellation" policy for special event dates that are designated "key" (i.e. Shippensburg University Graduation). Reservations will be charged for the full amount of the number of nights indicated at the time the reservation is made with no refund if cancelled.

CANCELLATION NUMBERS
Cancellation numbers are given at the time you cancel your reservation. NOTE THIS NUMBER FOR YOUR RECORDS. If you should be billed in error for a "guaranteed no-show"this number will be required for a correction to be made.

The cancellation policy applying to your reservation (general, 72 hrs., or "no cancellation") will be specified when your room type, dates, and rate are confirmed.

GUARANTEED NO-SHOWS
When you have a confirmed reservation and fail to arrive on the date indicated, and you neglect to cancel according to the time frame indicated under "cancellation policy," you will be charged for the first night of your reservation (including taxes). The remainder of your reservation will automatically cancel.
